Keeping tabs on baby
I thought I’d share this site in case anyone else out there is a neurotic freak like myself. And I mean that in the best way possible. You see, ever since I was pregnant with my first son back in 1999, I’ve been obsessed with tracking my pregnancies. I love to have a calendar I can look up every day and see what is growing or going on with baby on that day. With my son, I printed one out and would read it to my husband every morning as he was getting out of the shower. “Guess what, sweety! The baby has eyelids now!” Stuff like that. It’s been harder, believe it or not, to find a simple calendar layout-styled pregnancy calendar lately though. But I have found one. And this one here lets you skip ahead and skip back (”Let’s see, what’s baby going to be doing on my birthday?” or “How far along will I be on Valentine’s Day?”). It’s a beautiful thing.
It’s at JustMommies.com and is a simple php script. Once you call it up, you can print it out or bookmark it in your browser to pull up daily if you so chose. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are at all interested in knowing when your baby’s liver starts producing bile (FYI: my baby starts that on this coming Saturday).
