Chihuahua saves 1 year old from rattlesnake
Have you heard this story yet? In Masonville, Colorado, 1 year old Booker was visiting his grandparents and splashing in the birdbath in their backyard when a rattlesnake came out to see what the fuss was about. And apparently, something pissed him off because he rattled and made a move to strike the baby. Enter 5-pound chihuahua, Zoey. She literally positioned herself in between the baby and the snake and was struck four separate times from the poisonous rattler. That is when the grandparents heard the dog yelp and came to intervene. For a time, it didn’t appear as though the tiny heroine would pull through, but now it looks as though she’ll make a full recovery. What a good dog! I know my useless mutts would never do something so brave. Baby Booker owes that little ankle-biter his life.

Could a person do that to save someone else? Amazing story.
