Welcome to another weekly installment of YNTR. I hope I have some
Today is the sixth anniversary of the day that rocked our nation. It’s difficult to believe it’s been six years already, isn’t it? I know to me, it feels like that day was mere months ago, the events of that horrible morning are burned into my memory. However, my son was not quite 2 years old that day and he has no memory of what happened. He doesn’t remember me staring at the television in horror as the events unfolded, as the towers fell and more planes crashed. He was playing with his toys in his pack n’ play, oblivious to the drama and pathos that was going on. And that’s as it should be. But as a child who is nearly 8 years old, it’s time he knew more about what happened that day.
Yes, I’m still completely obsessed with BlogHer. I’m having a hard time thinking of anything else at the moment. And if I do think of something else, it’s “God, I need some sleep” because I’m still completely exhausted. If you went to BlogHer 07 and are as obsessed as I am (is that possible??) or if you didn’t go and would like to hear some of the dish from the conference, are you ever in the right place!!
In the world of parenting blogs, there is a huge majority of mommy blogs and a rather small minority of daddy blogs. While the number of daddy blogs grows every day, they’re still almost the “oddity” of the community. But I mean that in the best way possible.
